CHARACTERISTICS AND RESISTANCE: a pearlescent water-based paint for interiors, offering a striking aesthetic impact. Thanks to its constantly-changing mobile effects, ARTECO’ 7 METAL changes colour depending on the position of the observer and the reflected light.
PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE: apply on new or old walls provided they are in good condition and are not oily, dusty or damp. Otherwise, treat them adequately and apply a suitable fixative. Subsequently, apply one covering coat of PRIMER 1200 diluted 15 - 20% using a woolen roller or brush (or sprayer) with criss-cross strokes for improved coverage. After 6 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of ARTECO’ 7 METAL.

Dilution: ready to use.
APPLICATION:System: brush, plastic spatula.

APPLICATION CYCLE: To obtain the effects shown in the catalogue, PRIMER 1200 must be coloured with the relative amount of COLORI' colouring paste. Alternatively, the VALCLONE dispensing system can be used. Furthermore, to obtain the metallic nuances, ARTECO’ 7 METAL must be supplemented with the L50 product available in 6 different shades.Apply and work over gradually on a small surface (approx. 1 - 2 m2) using brush PV 76. Apply the paint in all directions, by alternating strokes from right to left and vice-versa and from top to bottom and vice-versa, so that the product can even out properly. After roughly 5 - 10 minutes at 20°C, work over the treated part again using brush PV 76 without paint and move the particles towards the uncovered zones with soft superficial brush strokes. Once the smooth part of the paint has dried, while the relief particles are still wet (after about 10 minutes) smoothen ARTECO’ 7 METAL lightly using the PV 77 plastic spatula with alternating and criss-cross strokes.
NB: on very rough, pitted, etc. walls, apply ARTECO' 7 METAL using brush PV 76 only, without using the PV 77 plastic spatula.
Storage: make sure that the tin is tightly closed, even after use, and store at a temperature between +10°C and +30°C.
Shelf life: approximately 1 year, if well sealed and never opened.
NOTES: Application temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C. Wash the tools soon after use with water and soap.
